Video
conference platforms, gateways, MCUs
and bridges frequently need ISDN
access and this is normally provided
via dedicated ISDN services, even
though the video conferencing may
only be used periodically. Some
examples of how to connect video to ISDN are show below.
Liberator can be used to source network access for video or connect VC by using existing ISDN.

Liberator
can also be used to serve several
videoconferencing devices through
a single PRI access and provides
local inter-connectivity without
having to make a network call. Both
BRI"S" and "U" interfaces
can be supported on the DUO. This
may be particularly relevant when
having to drive over long distances.

If the video device, such as an MCU needs PRI but this is not available from the carrier, or where BRI ownership is less than PRI, Liberator can build multiple BRIs into a local PRI.

This is explained in more detail in the BRI to PRI page.
