If
you need to connect a T1 ISDN device
to an E1 PRI network, or visa-versa,
Patapsco Liberator can help with
the relevant software option.
Please also see our new Liberator "D" with multiple PRIs and a distributed architecture supporting T1 to E1 conversion and A-Law to u-Law.
[Additionally, Patapsco are soon to make available a T1 Robbed-Bit to T1/E1 PRI
ISDN conversion unit.]
The following diagrams give examples of an E1 converter, T1 converter or E1 T1 ISDN converter. Any ISDN ports can connect to any other with simple conversion between E1 PRI and T1 PRI. Support for BRI ISDN is also available.
Two Liberator versions are available (see panel below); one supports up to three T1/E1 ports and the other four to 40.
If BRI ports are also required, these are available on the same platforms as the 3 PRI unit.
