"It’s been invaluable. We couldn’t have completed the project without it. We ‘upgraded’ from ISDN to broadband some time ago and even if we still had them it would have cost us every time we tested the kit.
The project had four video conferencing systems each with four ISDN ports. In retrospect a 16 port device would have given us 100% testing on all systems at the same time but the 8 port simulator was perfectly OK.
On site there was some confusion over the structured wiring that carried the ISDN2 circuits so it was a relief to be able to use the simulator to prove that our equipment was working OK."
“Patapsco has performed a great deal of testing with the Liberator units, the available Brent variants and Polycom systems. This testing has been a precursor to installations with various Government agencies/departments, police forces and armed services - all using the Brent secure devices. Patapsco also manufactures a specific variant of the Liberator which has special features developed in conjunction with CESG - and consequently they are very confident with the interoperability of the Liberator/Brent solution with Polycom systems. Polycom in fact uses the Liberator S unit in its own video network - and can demonstrate this connectivity with units installed in Milan, Munich. London and Madrid.” A Polycom spokesperson
