| What applications are the PB-ISDN targeted at? |
|
 |
- Synchronous applications that need to work in a clock-locked environment. This includes encryptors, secure telephones, codecs (voice and video), videoconferencing etc.
- Back haul for PSN networks
- IP-based satellites where users need ISDN access.
- Carriers that need to deliver a transparent ISDN service identical to that delivered via a traditional exchange so customers can connect any device and the carrier has no support issues.
- Voice traffic that needs a very low latency and high PCM quality.
- There are a number of Application Notes and examples on the Applications area of the web site.
