| What type of network does the PB-TDM need? |

- Because the leased line service is clock-locked and ideal for synchronous applications, it is important that the Jitter or Packet Delay Variation (PDV) is within certain limits so data arrives in time for the clock pulse
- Typically PB-TDM will be used on a managed Packet Network.
- Quality of Service ( QoS) within the network ensures low packet loss and fast responses.
- Ethernet, IP and MPLS networks can be used. VLAN tagging is supported.
- Under some circumstances Broadband Internet can be used.
